Next2New Automotive Sales & Service is growing and looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. We're seeking a technician with at least 5 years of recent experience in a full-service automotive repair shop who can confidently diagnose and repair both gas and light-duty diesel vehicles.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair domestic and import gas vehicles and light-duty diesel vehicles
• Perform advanced engine, drivability, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC diagnostics
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Perform engine repairs and overhauls as needed
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance or safety concerns
• Communicate repair findings and timelines with service advisors
• Maintain accurate repair documentation
• Properly handle warranty parts and maintain an organized work area
• Keep customer vehicles clean and protected during service
• Follow all shop safety procedures
• Mentor and assist less experienced technicians when needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a full-service automotive repair shop required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience repairing both gas and light-duty diesel vehicles
• Engine overhaul experience preferred
• Advanced electrical and drivability diagnostic experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Own a complete set of professional tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States
• ASE Certifications are a plus but not required

Schedule

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-6:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

No overnight shifts.
